Blog, Featured No Comments

Numbers of students identified in some Wisconsin school districts last academic year and, for comparison, the # that were identified in the same districts ten years ago:

Beloit: 590 (55)

Green Bay: 1102 (579)

Madison: 1347 (485)

Milwaukee: 3937 (1,922)

Oshkosh: 274 (37)

Most districts throughout the state have seen radical increases in student homelessness over this stretch. Districts and communities need to think about and respond to this issue in new ways.
