resilient homeless youth
In North Dakota, the homelessness crisis is different from many other states. it’s thriving economy (in many places) has drawn workers from around the US. They come to ND for jobs but can’t always find housing. Tent and trailer communities have popped up on the outskirts of small towns. Additionally, there’s a large number of unaccompanied youth in the state. These are adolescents and young adults who are out on their own. They are resilient and determined to make it — but find a range of challenges in schooling and work.
