It’s often difficult to determine how to respond when someone asks us for money on the streets. However, a more fundamental question is how can we develop collective capacity to create more affordable housing, accessible jobs that pay living wage, and quality social services.
If we fail to commit to and address these matters, people in Los Angeles and other communities will continue to see increases of issues like this article discusses:
