Doctoral Research Program
The UW-Madison Doctoral Research Program provides an opportunity for graduate students to develop the kinds of professional skills and networks necessary to become successful researchers.
DRP students begin with an interdisciplinary seminar in the Spring that focuses on interacting with researchers from across the School of Education. (here is a sample syllabus for DRP 2012).
As members of the DRP, students…
- organize seminars,
- take several one-credit courses to improve skills such as grant-writing, publication and teaching,
- work with faculty in the annual WCER Poster Fair, and
- organize the Annual Graduate Student Research Fair in the Spring Semester.
