Lab Welcomes First PhD Student!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Educational Neuroscience lab is excited to welcome our first PhD student, Liz Toomarian! \u00a0Liz comes to us from <a title=\"U.C. San Diego\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ucsd.edu\/\">U.C. San Diego<\/a>, where she did her undergraduate studies in <a title=\"Cognitive Science\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cogsci.ucsd.edu\/\">Cognitive Science<\/a>, with a specialization in Neuroscience. \u00a0As an undergrad, she worked on intervention projects to help children with dyslexia, and has been a research assistant in UCSD&#8217;s <a title=\"Developmental Neuroimaging lab\" href=\"http:\/\/dnilab.ucsd.edu\/\">Developmental Neuroimaging lab<\/a> for the past three years. \u00a0With Liz&#8217;s combination of experience, skill and interests, she&#8217;s a great fit for educational neuroscience, and we&#8217;re very excited to have her join us here in Madison. \u00a0Welcome Liz!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Educational Neuroscience lab is excited to welcome our first PhD student, Liz Toomarian! \u00a0Liz comes to us from U.C.
