Hi! My name is Devon, and I am a junior majoring in Neurobiology with a certificate in Gender and Women\u2019s Studies. After graduating, I hope to pursue a career in the medical field as a physician assistant. This is my first semester in the Educational Neuroscience lab, and I am super excited to gain research experience in the neuroscience field and discover more about how kids learn. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, exploring Madison, and spending time with family and friends.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

Outside of the lab, I am a member of Delta Delta Delta and Wisconsin Pre-Medical Society. Hi, my name is Sadie and I’m a junior studying neurobiology with a certificate in education and educational services. This is my first semester in the lab and I’m really excited to be a part of it. After graduation, I am hoping to go to med school. Outside of school I work as a CNA and volunteer at the UW hospital, and I also teach an after school program at Randall Elementary school. In my free time I love cooking, spending time with friends and family, and hiking!\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

This will be my second semester in the EdNeuro Lab, and I am super excited to continue learning about educational neuroscience and child development. I’m also excited to gain more experience with brain imaging techniques. After graduation, I hope to attend medical school. Outside of the lab, I work closely with the Transition Education Program here in Madison and work as a Student Health Technician at University Health Services. In my free time, I love practicing yoga, cooking, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family!<\/div>\n

In the future, I hope to get a master’s degree in Neuroscience or a related field. This semester is my first semester working within the lab, and I\u2019m excited to have the opportunity to learn from my peers, work in a hands-on environment, and develop a further understanding of how we learn. Around campus, I am involved in the Undergraduate Neuroscience Society, and at home, I work with my school district\u2019s childcare program.
