Video + Glass: Optics of the Lens at OxBow

Charlotte Potter and I will be co-teaching the class “Video + Glass: Optics of the Lens” this summer at Ox-bow.

Ox-Bow offers:

  • A variety of for-credit and non-credit courses in Painting/Drawing, Glassblowing, Ceramics, Metals/Sculpture, Printmaking, Papermaking, Photography, Fiber, Film, Video, & New Media, Art History, and Science.
  • Fellowships and Merit Scholarships.
  • Summer and Fall Residencies.
  • Work Scholarship and Six Credit Special for SAIC students.
  • Ox-Bow also fulfills a portion of the SAIC off-campus study requirement.

Classes run from June 1-August 16, and students can earn 1 credit for a one-week course, 3 credits for a two-week course, or take courses for non-credit. For course information click here.

Fellowship and Merit scholarship applications are due February 23rd.  Ox-Bow offers a variety of scholarships for students taking credit or non-credit classes.

Applying is easy, just fill out the application and we will figure out what you qualify for! Applications for the fellowship are online here and scholarships here.

In-person registration for SAIC students begins Monday, March 17th at 8:30 a.m. at the Ox-Bow office. Students interested in work scholarships MUST register in person. Work scholarships are first come, first serve.  SAIC financial aid is available to eligible students.

Open on-line registration begins March 31st at 8:30 a.m. here. (Open mail/fax/in-person registration also starts).

Summer Arts Faculty Residency & MFA Project Applications are due on April 6th. Applications for the Arts Faculty are online here and MFA Residency here.

Fall Artist Residency Applications are due on May 11th.  Applications are online here.
